Key Information for Your Child's Stay
Support Groups—We currently offer family support groups for neonatal and oncology caregivers.
Sibling Programs and Charna’s Kids Club—These are run by the Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy Department to address the emotional needs of school-age siblings of young patients.
Palliative and Bereavement Programs—The CCMC Palliative Care team works with primary care providers to offer support for children and families who are faced with the potential loss of a loved one.
CCMC Center for HOPE—Located at 1981 Marcus Avenue, this center offers a range of age-appropriate bereavement programs for families who have had a loss.
BEE MINDFUL™ Program—This hospital program helps identify patients with special needs. Families and patients are taught that their room is a safe space, and staff use the BEE MINDFUL™ symbol to remind them to provide thoughtful, special care.
Become an Ambassador—We are recruiting current and former patients for our Ambassador Program. Ambassadors serve as champions for Cohen Children’s Medical Center and share the unique stories of their healthcare experiences with the public.
